In the ‘History of Education On The Lower Clarence’, published by the Maclean Historical Society, on page 82, there is mention of the Anderson family.  James Anderson is listed as being 1.5 miles from the proposed Tullymorgan-Broadwater school site in 1891, 5 miles from the nearest existing State school, with children Margaret Ann Anderson aged 12 and Samuel John Anderson aged 10 years, James Anderson aged 8 years and William Anderson aged 6 years.

Susannah passed away aged 83 years in 1936 from Coronary Thrombosis. The informant on her death certificate was her daughter Nina ANDERSON. Her death certificate incorrectly states that James and Susannah were married at Nowra, they were married at Rocky Mouth (Maclean), NSW.
